There are several ways to make a donation:
You can send a cheque, payable to “The League of Worthing Hospitals and Community Friends” to the Treasurer, c/o The Friends Shop, North Wing, Worthing Hospital, Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, BN11 2DH.
You can also donate online as one-off or regular payments, via JustGiving. It’s quick, easy and secure:

We are happy to support presentations in recognition of the hard work associated with your donation and award a suitable certificate of appreciation (pdf).
Legacies
Legacies enable the Friends to fund the more expensive commitments to Worthing Hospital including major appeals such as the Interventional Radiology Machine and auto brake porter chairs.
Even a small amount makes a difference to our ability to fund more modern technology or enable new services to be introduced. We aim to ensure that as far as possible Worthing Hospitals’ staff have the best equipment available to help them treat patients effectively.

In memoriam donations
A gift for life
Gifts in memory of a friend or relative are a very special way of recognising love and friendship at a time of bereavement. The Friends appreciate the thoughtfulness which prompts such gifts, and we ensure that they are used effectively to support our hospitals.
Funeral directors are usually willing to collect these donations, or they may be sent directly to the Treasurer, c/o The Friends Shop, North Wing, Worthing Hospital, Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, BN11 2DH.

quilt fund raiser -In late 2022
Plans are currently being made to auction a hand made quilt later this year
Singing in the pub - £70 raised in Nov 21
In November 2021 one of our supporters very kindly arranged to sing in a local pub, and raised £70 for our charity. She requested that the funds should be ring-fenced for The Breast Cancer Unit at Worthing Hospital. She received a certificate of appreciation for her efforts.
Lunches in the Garden - £1345 raised in Aug 21
In August 2021 our Chair organised a series of weekly lunches in her garden to raise funds. They were well attended and appreciated by members and supporters of The Friends and also Storrington Horticultural Society. A raffle was held and we offered our charity Christmas cards for sale. A profit of £1345 was made.
